Silicone Sealant Remover Options

Silicone sealant remover, such as the ones from CT1, are probably the only safe and effective way to remove this product from your home or in your place of business. It is also one of the cheapest and best ways to get rid of the nasty sticky mess known as Silicone sealant. If you have ever cleaned the edge of sinks or tiles then you will know this stuff. It eventually needs to be replaced. A little silicone sealant goes a long way and if you’re not sure if it’s time to go cleaning, then get to work right away.

There are several ways to remove silicone sealant without damaging the walls around it. The easiest and least expensive way to do so is to use a vacuum cleaner and suck up all of it with the hose, while being careful to not actually touch the wall behind the item you are trying to remove as you might need to sand some of the material away.

Once you’ve got it removed from the area you don’t want it in you will need to use either a sandpaper to smooth the surface and remove any bubbles or scratches, or a chemical stripper to remove the grease or wax from it. Be careful with these chemicals as they have been known to cause permanent damage to certain materials, so make sure to either wear safety glasses or get a professional to perform the task for you.
